Sedrick's parents

The gorgeous parents of the groom, Belinda, and Carlos are a rare set of amazing humans who’ve raised Sedrick to be the wonderful man he is. Based in Kuwait a long time ago, they came back to Goa in 1990. Carlos worked in Kuwait for a long time until retirement while Belinda and Sedrick were mostly in Goa. Belinda is talented at crochet, she also cooks amazing food and is very active at the church. Here’s an interesting bit about her - she’s also recently served as the sarpanch of her ward, trying her ultimate best to help others (because that’s what she does best!). She also previously worked in a laboratory as a QC analyst/chemist. Carlos is very passionate about gadgets and technology. It is no wonder that Sedrick inherits a combination of talents from his lovely parents, the two most amazing, special people in his life. Being the super-generous, ever-loving, and accommodating parents they are, they love to host get-togethers and parties and thoroughly enjoy the company of family and friends.

Pascoal & Ava

Here’s the ‘banker dyad,’ the parents of the bride who both worked for Bank of India. After 39 years of relentless service, Pascoal retired as senior manager (NRI & Forex services) at Margao. He later offered his expertise at Lokmanya where he served as Manager and Coordinator for South Goa Region for 9 years (until he decided to finally enjoy retired life!). Ava also worked in the bank and retired as Head Cashier II. Pascoal is a fun-loving dad, very polite and over-helpful, and also extremely talented in making the best coffee, tea, and chapattis. He gets carried away while singing and dancing, and he is particularly very attached to Kitty, the house cat who is an important part of the fam. Ava loves gardening and immersing herself in housework, she is always on her toes. Mending things around the house, tending to the garden plants, cleaning the pool and cooking for family and friends to enjoy a lavish meal are some of her favorite things to do. If there’s one thing she can’t do – that is just to sit, relax and take it easy. Just like Sedrick’s parents, they too enjoy the company of family and friends, always eagerly waiting for opportunities to host parties and cook enormous amounts of food. At their house, everyone is welcome – family, friends, and friends of friends are all welcome at any time, no matter how large the group!

Blain & Lee-Anne

Lee-Anne, the sister of the bride is married to Blain, and living in British Columbia (BC), Canada. Lee-Anne is a Life Sciences professional who worked as a Biotechnology college professor while in Goa. She is a gifted poet and a passionate writer who also pursues writing with the dream of publishing her own book someday. She has known Sed (and Lis of course!) for the longest time, right from MSc IT days while she taught BSc. Biotech in the same (Chowgule) College. Lee-Anne’s husband Blain is a Captain who previously worked aboard tanker ships and currently works for BC Ferries on a scenic island called Haida Gwaii in BC. He loves everything about sailing and the seas (except prawns and crabs! 😃). He also enjoys watching wrestling, playing football (a Barcelona supporter), exploring the globe, and training his mind with trivia quizzes. His unprecedented love for travel has led him to explore many places before choosing to settle down with Lee-Anne in one of his favorite destinations. Blain and Lee-Anne share an extraordinary bond with Sed and Lis, making them family and the best-est friends!
